I received my associates degree from TCC and am graduating from University of North Texas in 2019 with a major in Literature and three minors. My first major will be in Literature, my minors will be in History, Psychology, and Russian Studies. My GPA is currently 3.8. I am able to help with study skills and organizational skills. I also took a lot of AP classes in high school and am willing and able to help AP students in areas such as history, literature, english composition, and psychology.
Experience
I would like to be a tutor because I love helping others learn. Education and expanding knowledge within myself and my community is something that is very important to me. I am studying at a university with the goal of becoming a professor myself in the future; tutoring is a great first step for this goal. As for past work experience, I have been a hostess, a caretaker of both children and the elderly, and I've been a legal assistant for a foreclosure attorney. I've worked with all ages in the past and have a kiddo of my own. That being said I am able to tutor not only younger kids and young adults but those who are considered "seniors" who would like to continue their education.

In my free time I enjoy reading, researching various topics, baking, spending time with my family, and messing around with music. I have a lot of different hobbies and love to continuously learn. My tutoring style is tailored to each persons individual needs. I like to allow the kids or adults that I am tutoring to lead the sessions so that I can get a vibe of what they are needing help with. I'll answer any questions you may have and if I don't have an answer I will find a correct answer as quickly as possible.
